From the moment you book to the moment your gear comes back, here's exactly what I do — so you know what you're paying for.
01I research your exact model
I look up your seat or stroller's brand, model, and year — checking for recalls, expiration dates, and the manufacturer's cleaning guidelines before I touch it.
02I photograph everything first
Every nook, hook, and button gets documented before disassembly — plus before shots of any tears, stains, or wear so you have a clear record.
03I deep clean the dirty work
Careful disassembly, vacuum, and dentist-style tools lift crumbs, melted candy, and hidden grime from every seam. Then hand treatment and brushing before the wash.
04I wash and dry by the guidelines
Fabric pieces run on a delicate cycle per your manufacturer's instructions, then hang or lay flat to dry. Plastic base and frame get wiped down too.
05I reassemble and inspect
Every piece goes back exactly where it belongs. After photos and any lingering notes land in your Buckle Report so you see what was done.
06I package and return it safely
Clean, dry, inspected — then packed in my signature packaging so nothing gets damaged on the way back to you.

What's the difference between Overnight Express and Standard Detailing?+
Overnight Express is for when you can't be without the seat: I pick it up at your door after 7:30 PM and have it back before 8 AM. Pricing is exactly the same as Standard — $39 infant, $49 toddler/convertible, plus travel ($10 flat within 10 miles, then $1/mile after that). Car seats only, up to two per night, within 15 miles of Bristol. Standard Detailing is the flexible option — you pick the day, choose porch drop-off or at-your-door pickup, and it comes back the next day.
Do you remove the car seat from my car?+
No. Please have your seat (or other gear) uninstalled and ready when I arrive.
Do I need to know the model?+
No. Just the brand or model if you know it.
Do you clean harness straps?+
Yes — carefully, and according to manufacturer guidance. I never soak or submerge harnesses.
Do you guarantee stains will come out?+
No. Some stains may remain, but I clean every item thoroughly and safely.
Do you clean mold?+
Mold may not be serviceable, because the child-safe cleaners I use may not fully remediate it. If I find mold or damage that makes an item unsafe, I stop, document it, and check with the manufacturer. When a part can't be safely cleaned or replaced, the item comes back to you disassembled with a written explanation rather than reassembled — I won't hand back something that looks ready to use when it isn't.
How long does it take?+
Overnight Express is back before 8 AM the next morning. Standard Detailing is next-day — I get it one day and return it the next.
Do I have to pick a pickup time?+
No. You just pick the day. I'll text you the night before with a time range so you're not sitting around waiting.
Can I just drop it off instead?+
Yes — porch drop-off at my Bristol porch is available with Standard Detailing and skips the travel fee entirely.
How does the travel fee work?+
At-your-door pickup & delivery is $10 flat within 10 driving miles of Bristol — whether you're 2 miles away or 10 — then +$1 per mile after that. It's one fee per appointment, not per item. If you'd rather not pay it, porch drop-off at my Bristol porch has no travel fee at all.
What areas do you serve?+
I'm based in Bristol, CT and cover most of central Connecticut. Travel is $10 flat within 10 miles, then +$1 per mile after that. The booking form checks your exact address and confirms travel before you pay — Overnight Express has a slightly tighter range because of the turnaround. If you're outside my range, porch drop-off in Bristol is your best bet — or text me at (203) 441-0408 and we'll work something out.
How do I pay?+
All major credit and debit cards through secure Stripe checkout at booking (Visa, Mastercard, Amex, Discover). Apple Pay and Google Pay work too.
What's your cancellation policy?+
Life with kids happens — I get it. Cancel or reschedule up to 24 hours before your pickup for a full refund, no questions asked. Inside 24 hours, I'll do my best to reschedule you.
